Parliament meeting has exposed BJP’s double face, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin India news

The recent Parliament session has exposed the double face of the ruling BJP at the Centre, particularly its mindset towards celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Constitution and insulting the founder of the Constitution, BR Ambedkar, said Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. Saturday.

Compared to BJP members, DMK MPs fared better in the just-concluded winter session, “emerging as heroes who raised the voice of the people,” claimed the chief minister.

“The country is shocked by the performance of DMK MPs to raise the issue of state’s rights and draw the attention of the House,” Stalin said in a statement here and praised his party’s MPs.

Stalin criticized the Centre, saying, “On the one hand the Center has celebrated 75 years of journey under the Constitution but on the other hand it has insulted Ambedkar.”

Although the Prime Minister maintained silence on several issues, he should have taken responsibility to answer, while BJP members tried to disrupt “democracy” in Parliament, he said.

“The winter session is a proof of how the BJP government has thrown away parliamentary democracy. The Union Home Minister (Amit Shah) himself defamed Ambedkar, the maker of the Constitution, thereby exposing the elitist fascist face of the BJP,” Stalin alleged.
