Nine Ayyappa devotees were injured in a fire in Hubballi

Nine Ayyappa devotees were injured in a fire at a temple in Hubballi due to a leaking gas cylinder.

The accident took place on Sunday (December 22, 2024) when Ayyappa devotees were falling asleep after performing rituals and chanting hymns at the Shiva temple in Achhavwa Colony in Unakal, Hubballi.

According to preliminary information, it is said that the fire started due to leakage of LPG gas stove. Hearing the screams of the devotees, others woke up and rushed them to the hospital. All those injured in the fire are being treated at KMC-RI Hospital in Hubli.
