Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, government whip and Alair MLA Birla Ilaiah, along with Bhongir MP Chamla Kiran Kumar Reddy, condemned Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s comments about Dr BR Ambedkar at Yadagirigutta on Sunday.

Addressing the media, MP Chamla Kiran Kumar Reddy expressed outrage over Shah’s alleged comment that naming Ambedkar had become “fashionable”. “Amit Shah should tender a public apology and resign immediately. Such comments Dr. Not only insults Ambedkar but also undermines the principles enshrined in our Constitution,” the MP said.

Criticizing the recently concluded winter session of Parliament, he accused the BJP of neglecting key issues like the Adani dispute and the Manipur crisis. “The entire session was organized to push the One Nation-One Election Bill, ignoring pressing national concerns. Despite repeated requests to discuss serious issues, the government adjourned the House without discussion,” he added.

He further alleged that the BJP was not respecting the draft prepared by Ambedkar and was conspiring to change it. He dismissed claims that Shah’s controversial comments were edited or taken out of context, accusing the BJP of misleading the public and covering up its mistakes.
