IRCTC Down: Instant and e-ticketing services of Indian Railways are temporarily unavailable

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance. Visitors attempting to access the website are greeted with a notice citing downtime and advising users to try again later.

“Due to maintenance activity, e-ticketing service will not be available. Please try again later,” reads a message on the IRCTC website.

For users who require immediate assistance regarding ticket cancellation or filing ticket deposit receipts (TDR), the notification provides customer service contact numbers: 14646, 080-44647999, and 080-35734999. Alternatively, customers can also contact via email at etickets@irctc.co.in.

The exact duration of the downtime has not been disclosed.

Users are advised to check the IRCTC website periodically for updates. This scheduled maintenance comes at a critical time for travelers during the holiday season, potentially impacting travel plans.
