For much of her career, Shalini also acted as her manager, which led to clashes with her family.
In the documentary, Honey can’t go into detail about the out-of-court settlement between her and Shalini, but wishes her the best in life. When asked if he wanted to talk about the divorce, he said, “Both of us have signed the MoU, so we cannot talk about it. But I wish her all the best in life. I wish him a bright life. It’s like I said before, right? It’s all circles. This circle, it goes round, comes back. Everything seeks balance. As the old saying goes, what goes around comes around. I believe in this.”

Sister Honey said it was a ‘difficult time’ for the family, adding, “Who do we all have to prove? No one believed us because the world outside was a very difficult place and all the conflicts were going on…”

Things were good for the initial 9-10 months of our marriage. But then success and fame got to my head. When that happened, I neglected my family and completely lost myself in money, fame, addiction and women. I did a terrible job. I almost left Shalini and forgot about the family,’ he said.
