Simran Singh, a popular freelance radio jockey from Jammu and Kashmir, has been found dead in her Gurugram apartment. Known to her fans as RJ Simran, the 25-year-old has nearly seven million followers on Instagram. Police suspect that the cause of death may have been suicide, but the investigation is ongoing.
Singh was found in his apartment in Sector 47 in Gurugram, where a friend who lived with him alerted the authorities. His body has been handed over to his family for cremation, police said.
