Fitness influencer Miguel Angel Aguilar has died after being shot in the head during an attempted robbery at his Los Angeles home three months ago. He was 43.
Aguilar, who had 50,000 followers on his social media pages that offered tips on fitness and entrepreneurship, was pronounced dead on Dec. 21.
Her fitness brand, Self Made Training Features, revealed the sad news of Aguilar’s passing in an Instagram post. “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our founder and CEO, Miguel Angel Aguilar,” the post’s caption read.
The post added, “After a courageous three-month battle following a tragic event on September 13, 2024, Miguel passed away peacefully on December 21, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.”

A report by NBC News Aguilar and his wife, celebrity hair-extensionist Priscilla Valles, said they encountered the robbers in the driveway of their upscale Bel Air home.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) was called to Thurston Circle in Bel-Air on September 13 at approximately 4:30 p.m.
