Fancy a brunch? Head to Lychee Bistro for Instagram-worthy food and vibes

Malviya Nagar has a fun new spot, perfect for that brunch you’ve been planning. I recently visited Lychee Bistro and left with a camera roll full of Instagram-worthy photos and a belly full of delicious food. This recently opened restaurant boasts beautiful, colorful interiors with comfortable outdoor seating that works well at any time of day. I went to Lychee Bistro for brunch, and since the weather was pleasant, I decided to grab a table outside. The menu here offers a wide range of cuisines from regions such as France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, and more. Since the place only opened in July, unfortunately they don’t have everything available on the menu. However, the staff was apologetic and polite, guiding us to some delicious options.

Here’s everything I tried at Lychee Bistro, Malviya Nagar:

We started our brunch with cocktails and mocktails. I tried Lychee deckMade with rosemary and thyme-infused gin and tonic. The drink was crisp and very refreshing. Next, we had Berries spiced berries mocktail, which came with a kick of chaat masala and Tabasco. This was a fun experiment worth trying!

I can’t have brunch without a salad, so we gave it a try Young and wild lettuceIt consisted of rocket leaves, toasted hazelnuts, black olives, pickles and chicken sausages. A dressing made with a chili balsamic glaze brought out the flavor of the salad and tasted great.

I found an exciting item on the menu – the Loaded Kimchi Fries. As a fan of Korean food, I could taste the kimchi with the fries, although it was a bit too subtle for my taste.

Lychee has to be one of my favorite dishes from the bistro menu Gochujang ChickenFeaturing succulent chicken pieces on skewers served on a small grill. The chicken tasted delicious with a sweet, spicy flavor.

I tried too Chicken Cheeseburger Gyoza. While the concept was appealing, the dish turned out rather bland.

Wanting to try more drinks, we ordered mercilessA signature cocktail made with in-house whiskey, fresh mint, lychee crush, and cranberry juice. It looked beautiful in pink and tasted perfect, striking a balance between whiskey and cranberry. I tried too Espresso Tonic With a passion fruit flavor, the perfect drink for those who like their coffee strong and aren’t afraid to experiment a little.

No cafe is complete without sandwiches and pizza. We tried Croque Monsieur SandwichPerfect for cheese lovers, and Lots of truffle pizzaWhich was soft and heavenly for mushroom fans.

Dessert options were a little limited compared to the otherwise extensive menu. We were recommended French toastWhich looked pretty and tasted good, although it didn’t quite fulfill the role of a post-brunch dessert.
