Call for environmental protection, curbing greenhouse gas emissions and deforestation

The Ministry of Energy’s Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), which works for energy conservation, has called for a nationwide movement to fight climate change and protect the environment with collective initiatives by government, industry and individuals. The government is also focusing on sustainability of energy efficiency and conservation among women communities through Self Help Groups and TGREDCO, Mr. Sultania said. The TGREDCO manager said that various activities were conducted with the help of BEE to promote energy efficiency in the state.
