An Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane crashed in Kazakhstan on December 25, killing 38 people. Among the survivors, a passenger captured the heart-wrenching moments from inside the plane, which later went viral.
The footage shows the passenger praying before the crash. Other harrowing scenes include a bleeding passenger trying to get out of another damaged plane. Oxygen masks can be seen hanging from the overhead compartments. Despite its wide circulation, the video’s authenticity remains uncertain.
Sharing the video on Instagram, the Daily Mail wrote, “Footage captured by a passenger shows people praying and some oxygen masks inside the plane minutes before the plane crashed, confirming the damage and the death of at least 38 people.”

Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbaev has confirmed that out of 67 people on board the ship, 29 people, including two children, have survived and 11 people are in serious condition. Speaking about the deceased, he said, “The bodies are in critical condition, most of them have been burnt, all have been collected. Now they will be in the morgue, and will be identified. “
As the accident has brought tragedy to the world, many are offering prayers and condolences to the victims and their families.
