Border Security Force personnel have killed a suspected infiltrator along the India-Pakistan border in Sriganganagar district, an official said on Wednesday (Dec 25, 2024).
“The suspect allegedly tried to enter the Indian border on Tuesday (December 24, 2024) night. BSF soldiers warned him but he did not stop, following which he was killed,” Sriganganagar SP Gaurav Yadav said.
“The incident took place near a village in Kesarisinghpur area,” he said.
According to him, Pakistani notes, cigarette packets and some other items were recovered and information about him is being collected.
He said that there is continuous dialogue between the armed police and the police.
