Aamir then talked about the women in his life and said that he doesn’t feel threatened because he is surrounded by strong women. “Personally I grew up with really strong women around me. He added, “Maybe that’s why I don’t feel threatened as a man. Because I see it as a positive thing. A woman who is strong is really positive and only she can help me. For me, my upbringing has actually been very good.
Talking about his choice, Aamir said that he did not choose a film based on social issues but was attracted to a film that spoke something relevant. I think that I have made many films with social problems, but I don’t mean that I take scripts of films with social problems. I’m not going to go into that. I strongly feel that as a creative person, my fundamental and primary responsibility is to entertain. “When I read scripts, I naturally gravitate towards scripts that carry something important,” he said.
