A vehicle rammed into an ambulance carrying the bodies of suspected Khalistani terrorists

Rampur (UP): An unidentified vehicle rammed into an ambulance carrying the bodies of three suspected ‘Khalistan Zindabad Force’ militants killed in an encounter in Uttar Pradesh’s Pilibhit to Punjab, police said on Wednesday. He said that although there was no human casualty in the incident on Tuesday night at Rampur Bypass, the body was shifted to another vehicle after the ambulance was damaged.

Rampur District Superintendent of Police Vidyasagar Mishra said that an ambulance carrying the bodies of three suspected terrorists from Pilivit to Punjab was hit by an unknown vehicle on the Rampur bypass on Tuesday night.

He said that there was no human loss in the incident.

He said that Rampur police reached the spot after receiving information about the accident and the bodies of the three people were shifted from the damaged vehicle to another ambulance.

A joint team of Punjab Police and Uttar Pradesh Police on Monday killed three suspected terrorists involved in a grenade attack on a police station in Gurdaspur in an encounter at Puranpur in Pilibhit.
