A motorcyclist died in Hyderabad after being hit by a speeding vehicle

Hyderabad: On Monday night, a 26-year-old youth was killed when another motorcycle collided with him while taking a U-turn near Srila Park in KPHB police station limits.

According to the police, the incident came to light after the mother of the deceased, Munangi Lakshmi, a resident of Andhra Pradesh, informed the police. The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Pawan Kumar, police said.

According to the complainant, he received a phone call informing him about Pawan’s accident. He immediately informed his relatives who informed the police.

“Pawan was working as a private driver in Hyderabad and was staying in a hostel in KPHB. He was taking a U-turn near Srila Park when he was hit by a speeding vehicle recklessly and negligently. The impact of the collision was such that the victim fell from the motorcycle and sustained a deep head injury. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, police said, adding.

A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
