A fast-selling Ed Sheeran show in Bengaluru on February 8 prompts organizers to add more shows

Good news for Ed Sheeran fans in Bengaluru who couldn’t get cheap tickets for the first time. An additional show has been added to the four-time Grammy Award winner’s The Mathematics Tour in Bengaluru.

Sheeran will now perform on February 8 and February 9, organizers said on Friday (December 20, 2024).

For the show on February 8, tickets priced between ₹4,000 and ₹10,000 have been sold out and tickets priced between ₹11,000 and ₹30,000 are filling up fast. The February 9 ticket went live today at 12 noon.

Owen Roncone, Chief of Business (Live Events), BookMyShow, which is organizing Math’s tour in India, said, “The response has been truly phenomenal, and we are excited to announce more shows in Bengaluru to meet the extraordinary demand of his fans.” Bengaluru will be the only city in India to host back-to-back performances of Lions, Roncon added.

The tour will see Sheeran spotlight his signature acoustic brilliance with his guitar and loop station, said Owen Roncone, Head of Business (Live Events), BookMyShow.

BookMyShow is organizing the tour with AEG Presents Asia, a live entertainment company that has featured popular pop stars like Taylor Swift and K-pop phenomenon Blackpink in recent times.

Sheeran’s setlist in India will include iconic tracks from his decade-long career such as ‘Shape of You’, ‘Thinking Out Loud’, ‘Perfect’, ‘Shivers’ and ‘Castle on the Hill’, as well as tracks from his latest chart-topping album, Roncon. .

He also said that Sharon and her team are taking a strong stance against anyone using unofficial secondary ticket sites to exploit fans trying to buy tickets for their shows.

“We will monitor sales transactions in cooperation with local law enforcement authorities to identify purchases that are in violation of the terms and conditions for the sale of Ed Sheeran tickets. All ticket purchases that violate these terms and conditions will be subject to possible cancellation.” ,” Roncon added. India maths tour will visit 6 cities.
