With the death of veteran actor-director Thomas Burleigh Kurisingal at the age of 92, Kochi has lost a multifaceted talent.
According to his family members, his last rites will be performed on Thursday, December 19 at the Santa Cruz Basilica Cemetery in Veli, Fort Kochi. He, who played the role of a cowboy in television serials and Hollywood movies, died on December 16 during treatment at a private hospital due to age-related ailments.
Born on September 1, 1932, he had a passion for acting since his childhood and entered the tinsel town at the age of 20 when he played the lead role in a film. Thiramala Released in 1953.
