Brushing past the results of KangwaSurya is hoping to win gold with his upcoming 44th and 45th films. Although he has completed shooting for Karthik Subbaraj’s ‘Suriya 44’, he is currently working on ‘Suriya 45’ directed by actor-filmmaker RJ Balaji. The film, which went on floors earlier this month, saw a major change in the team with AR Rahman stepping aside from the composing responsibilities, and the latest music sensation Sai Abhyankar taking over the helm. For the past few days, the makers have been sharing updates about the cast of the film.
The project, backed by Dream Warrior Pictures, is set to reunite the blockbuster duo of Suriya and Trisha. Coincidentally, Trisha recently celebrated 22 years as a leading actor in Tamil cinema, starting with Suriya’s Maunam Pesiyathe (2002). They starred together in one more film Aaru (2005) and Suriya appeared in a special dance number with Trisha in Manmadhan Ambu later. Apart from Trisha, RJ Balaji played the lead role in Lubbar Pandu fame Swasika.
