A video of the alleged beating of three children went viral on Thursday night, prompting members of the Muslim community to protest outside a local police station in Madhya Pradesh’s Ratlam district and demand strict action against those responsible.

According to the district police, in a video seen online, a person is shown hitting children aged 6, 9 and 11 with slippers, while another person recorded the incident.

The man was heard abusing them and forcing them to chant religious slogans and beating them mercilessly for at least a minute and a half.
