Bhayashree’s foodie updates never fail to tantalize our taste buds. From lip-smacking recipes to culinary tips, Bhagyashree’s gastronomical escapades enjoy a distinct fan following. On Sunday, November 3, the actress served what she called an authentic Jharkhand dish Dhuska. FYI: Dhuska is a deep fried rice cake prepared using rice, lentils and aromatic spices. This crispy snack is served with potato curry or chana dal. In a video shared on Instagram, Bhagyashree is seen holding a plate of dhuska served with chickpea curry. The post was accompanied by the caption, “Dhusaka… fried golden. I had to taste the local cuisine.

Earlier, Bhagyashree tried her hand at Joy Ride Lai ki sabziA dish from Arunachal Pradesh. It is prepared using bamboo shoots and bottle gourd leaves and is loaded with nutrients and vitamins. Bhagyashree tasted the boiled rice. Sharing more information about Lai Ki Sabzi on Instagram, she said, “This preparation contains almost all the important nutrients your body needs. It’s great for weight watchers as it’s light on the stomach and delicious on the tongue. Made with a hint of bhoot jolokia (chilli (the spice kicks out the other chillies) also helps burn fat. This dish is not for the faint hearted as it can really turn up the heat. This unique vegetable… a combination of lye and bamboo shoots… straight from Arunachal Pradesh.”
Bhagyashree has a thing for traditional food. Evidence? Not long ago, the actress was enjoying a plate of soft-spongy bajra dosa with coconut chutney and sambar dal. Wait, there’s more.
