Nandini is ready to cook idli/dosa batter with whey protein

Chief Minister launching Nandini products in Bengaluru on Wednesday.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday launched a whey protein-rich idli / dosa batter manufactured by the Karnataka Milk Federation under its brand name Nandini.

Minister K. Mr. Siddaramaiah formally launched the production at Vidhana Soudha in the presence of Venkatesh, Krishna Bire Gowda, and Dinesh Gundu Rao.

A release from the chief minister’s office said the batter will contain 5% whey protein, and will be made available in the Bengaluru market on a trial basis before expanding to other places. KMF will provide the batter in 450 gm and 900 gm packets.

KMF has recently launched its milk and other products in New Delhi and other markets outside Karnataka.
