Former Vice Chancellor (VC) of Rajiv Gandhi University, RV Rajkumar on Saturday urged the youth to upgrade their technical skills and focus on certificate courses offered by reputed national and international institutions. The former chancellor was speaking at a career orientation program for students organized by Avanthi’s Research and Technical Academy at Rawada in Vizianagaram district.
Interacting with the students, Dr. Rajkumar said that in today’s competitive world, the traditional and casual approach will not benefit the students. Retired Visakhapatnam Port Trust Chairman TS Prakash Rao suggested students attend seminars and workshops to interact with eminent academicians and scholars. Avanthi Group Chairman Muttamsetty Srinivasa Rao and College Principal K Bhaskar Rao felicitated the guests and assured to conduct more career orientation programs for the students.
