The opposition on Saturday (December 21, 2024) staged a protest on the Vidhan Bhavan premises in Nagpur over the alleged fake medicine supply scam in Maharashtra government hospitals.

On the last day of the winter session, the opposition members carried placards and shouted slogans against the Mahayuti government on the steps of the state assembly.

“A year and a half ago, fake medicine was delivered to the patients in the medical college and government hospital, but no action was taken against any minister or official,” accused Ambadas Danve, the leader of the opposition party in the legislative parliament. .

Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole, Vijay Vaddetiwar, Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Varun Sardesai and other MLAs joined the protest.
