A fire broke out in the cafeteria on the fifth floor of Salarpuria Sattva Knowledge City in Madhpur at 6 am on Saturday (December 21, 2024).
“We got an alert at 6.15 am and rushed there suspecting a cylinder explosion. But we need to find out the facts,” Raydurg Inspector Venkanna said.
Mr. Venkanna said more than two fire tenders were deployed to douse the fire and there were no casualties or injuries. The fire was brought under control in an hour.
TV visuals showed thick smoke billowing from the building. This building is located in the IT zone of Hyderabad which is full of beautiful structures.
Rangareddy District Fire Officer Sheikh Khaja Karimulla said that the cause of the fire will be ascertained after investigation.
