After blast in Kannur, crude bomb recovered from house

Three crude bombs were recovered from a person’s house at Parikalam in Ulikkal here on Friday morning. He left the Bharatiya Janata Party and joined the Communist Party of India (Marxist) in January this year.

During the search conducted by the police and the bomb detection team, three colored buckets were found on the terrace of Girish’s house in Kakuwaparambil. It is assumed that there is an exploded bomb in an empty container found nearby. The operation was started after the locals got the news of a big explosion near their house.

Officials reached the spot after being informed by the locals.
