Out of 39 MLAs, 33 have been made Cabinet Ministers and 6 have taken oath as Ministers of State.
A total of 39 MLAs joined the Maharashtra government on Sunday, days after the Mahayuti government was formed following a historic victory in the Maharashtra assembly elections. The oath taking ceremony was held in Nagpur. It came a day before the start of the week-long winter session of the state legislature on December 16.
Out of 39 MLAs, 33 have taken oath as Cabinet Ministers and 6 as Ministers of State. 19 ministers are from BJP, 11 from Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) and nine from Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar). The cabinet was expanded 10 days after Devendra Fadnavis was sworn in as Chief Minister for the third time on December 5. Check out the full list of 39 ministers below:
