A man has been arrested for stealing from a relative’s house in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police has arrested a person for stealing from a relative’s house in Jagadgirigutta.

The arrested person is said to be 23-year-old Nadgotti Bharat of Jagadagirigutta, Warangal. The police recovered gold ornaments weighing 12.7 tolas worth more than Rs 7 lakh from Bharat.

In his complaint, Jangam Parmesh said he locked his house at 2 pm on December 15 and went to Jangoan in Warangal with family members to attend his grandmother’s first death anniversary.

Three days later, when he returned home at 12 midnight, he saw that the window glass was broken. After unlocking the main door of the house, he entered and saw that the lock of the almirah in his bedroom was broken and the gold jewelery was missing.

Based on the complaint, the police found Bharat’s involvement and registered a case. Before entering the complainant’s house, Bharat had thrown open the glass of the PVC window with a stone. They broke the lock of the cupboard and stole gold jewellery.

Police interrogation revealed that Bharat was a distant relative of the complainant and his parents had passed away when he was a child. After passing class 10, he lived in an orphanage and later started working in a hair salon and living with his relatives.

He went to jail in 2020 from Medipalli police station and in 2022 from Charminar police station in theft case. Even after coming out of prison, without changing his mentality, he got into the habit of easily earning money by committing property crimes.
