Several Congress MPs, including Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, on Tuesday (Dec 17, 2024) staged a protest at the Parliament premises demanding justice for Hindus and Christians facing atrocities in Bangladesh.

The MPs protested with bags that read ‘Stand with the minorities of Bangladesh’. They raised slogans asking the government to ensure justice for minorities in Bangladesh.

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi arrived in Parliament carrying a cream-colored handbag that read: “Bangladesh ke Hindu aur Isaiyan ke Saath Khade Ho” (Stand with Hindus and Christians of Bangladesh).

A day after he expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine, he came with a handbag written ‘Palestine’.

Several Congress MPs, led by Priyanka Gandhi, on Monday (December 16, 2024) also staged a protest at the Parliament premises demanding justice for Hindus and Christians facing atrocities in Bangladesh.

Speaking in the Lok Sabha at Zero Hour on Monday (December 16, 2024), Priyanka Gandhi sought help from the government for those suffering due to the attacks in Bangladesh.

“The government should raise the issue of atrocities on minorities, both Hindus and Christians, in Bangladesh. It should discuss with the Bangladesh government and support those who are suffering,” she said.
