Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay foundation stones of 24 projects worth over ₹ 46,300 crore during his visit to Jaipur on Tuesday (December 17, 2024).

Prime Minister Modi will participate in the ‘One Year – Parinam Utkarsh’ program in Rajasthan to mark the completion of one year of the Bhajan Lal Sharma-led BJP government.

In the program to be held at Dadia near Sanganer, the Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of 24 energy, road, railway and water supply projects.

Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate nine projects worth over Rs 11,000 crore, including seven central government projects. He will lay the foundation stones of 15 projects worth over ₹ 35,300 crore, including nine projects of the Center and six of the state government, according to an official release.

Projects to be inaugurated at the event include projects related to Navnera Barrage, smart electricity transmission network and asset management system, electrification of Bhildi-Samdari-Luni-Jodhpur-Merta Road-Degana-Ratangarh railway section and 12th package of Delhi-Vadodara. Green Area Alignment (NH-148N).

These projects will help ease the movement of people and meet the state’s energy needs, the statement said.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to lay the foundation stone of the system of sending water from Ramgarh Barrage and Mahalpur Barrage and Navnera Barrage to Bisalpur Dam and Isarda Dam through the Chambal River Canal, which is to be constructed at a cost of more than 9,400 crores.

He will lay the foundation stone of solar power plant on the roof of the government office building, two phases of 2000 MW solar park and 1000 MW solar park at Pugal (Bikaner) and strengthening of water supply line from Sapau (Dholpur). Bharatpur-Deg-Kumher-Nagar-Kaman and Chambal-Dholpur-Bharatpur up to Pahari.

Apart from this, he will lay the foundation stone of Luni-Samdari-Bhildi Double Line, Ajmer-Chanderia Double Line and Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur Double Line Railway Project as well as other projects related to power transmission.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sharma observed the preparations for the Prime Minister’s meeting place in Dadia on Monday (December 17, 2024) and gave suitable instructions to the officials.
