A two-and-a-half-year-old girl belonging to the Chenchu ​​caste has gone missing from the city’s Lankamma Manyam Colony for the past two days. The girl has been identified as Avula Divya.

After a search in the colony, her parents – Avula Gopi and Kondalamma – lodged a complaint with the Avanigadda police.

“The family was living in a hut on the embankment of the Nagayalangka canal. The girl went missing while her parents were fishing,’ said Krishna Superintendent of Police R Gangadhar Rao.
