A forest officer went to Parvatipuram to study elephant-human conflict

Visakhapatnam: Chief Conservator of Forest Chiranjeevi Chaudhary reached Parvatipuram Manyam district on Monday to understand the situation of elephant-human conflict.

The PCCF, along with Conservator of Forests Mohammad Dewan Mydeen and District Collector Shyam Prasad, studied the situation in a village at Pedakudu in Ziyammavalsa mandal.

Farmers expressed concern over widespread crop losses and delays in receiving ex-gratia compensation. The PCCF assured them that the government is actively working to resolve the issue at the earliest.

District Forest Officer Prasuna and other forest employees were present.
