MTTS program
The School of Mathematics, Alagappa University, Karaikudi, in collaboration with MTTS Overture Trust, organized a two-day Mathematics Training and Talent Search (MTTS) program for undergraduate students studying Mathematics as a major subject on December 12 and 13. The objective of the program was to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of mathematical concepts through innovative teaching methods inspired by the MTTS philosophy. N. Anbazhagan, Head, Department of Mathematics, and MTTS Overture Program Coordinator, in his welcome address, emphasized the importance of inspiring young minds to show keen interest in mathematics by bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications. PS Srinivasan of Bharathidasan University explained how MTTS has profoundly influenced the academic and professional trajectory of countless math enthusiasts. V. Sivakumar, Director and Coordinator of Curriculum Design and Development Cell, delivered the felicitation. S. Amutha, MTTS Overture Program Coordinator and Faculty Member, Ramanujan Center for Higher Mathematics proposed vote of thanks.
