Visakhapatnam: Endowments Minister Anam Ramnarayan Reddy on Sunday reviewed the affairs of the Simhachalam temple and its associated shrines, including land issues.
Addressing the media, he said that the land issue of Simhachalam temple would be resolved soon. He said that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has given him an important responsibility in Visakhapatnam. The local MLA has insisted on resolving the Panchgramalu land dispute.
The Minister discussed the Panchgramala issue with Ashok Gajapati Raju, Trustee of the temple and gave him various suggestions.
“Currently more than 12,000 people are living in these disputed lands. The government is trying to regularize their status. Efforts are being made to provide them with alternative government land. After getting the approval of the court, the dispute will be resolved soon,’ he said.
