Bigg Boss Telugu 8 Grand Finale Live Updates: After more than 100 days of being under the relentless gaze of cameras, the D-Day of Bigg Boss Telugu 8 is finally upon us. In a few hours, the Nagarjuna Akkineni-hosted reality show will crown its winner from the 22 contestants who embarked on the journey.
Season 8 had more interesting patterns when the contestants entered into pairs as part of the Buddy Challenge. Earlier, we had seven couples — Yashmi and Yashwant, Abhay and Prerna, Bebakka and Shekhar, Aditya and Sonia, Sita and Manikanth, Prithvi and Bishnupriya, Nainika and Nabil — and then four more couples entered the show as wildcard contestants. The four couples were Haritaja and Teja, Nayani and Mehboob, Rohini and Gautham, Gangava and Avinash. They were not just couples, but were also part of clans which made it more interesting to watch as each clan came with its own set of wow factors, and each contestant gave their all to ensure victory for their clan. As usual, there were twists in the allocation of bedrooms, each of which had its own privileges.

Another interesting twist in this edition of Bigg Boss Telugu is how there was zero cash prize at the beginning of the season. The contestants had to perform various tasks, follow several rules, strategize their games and finally come up with the number, which now stands at around Rs 54 lakh.
Apart from the housemates, many celebrities came to the show for promotional activities. Some of the films promoted at the event include Saripodha Sanivaram, 35, Swag, Kanguwa, Lucky Baskar, Amaran, Matka, and Mechanic Rocky. Now it is speculated that the finale of the show will feature a very special guest. Allu Arjun, the toast of the nation, is expected to be the special guest today for the best performance of Sukumar’s film Pushpa 2: The Rule.

After 15 tough and entertaining weeks, the final list of five contenders for the top prize is Gautam Krishna, Nikhil, Avinash, Prerna and Nabil Afridi. With so many angles being explored in the race for this title, including allegations of favoritism in the roost, it will be interesting to see who emerges as the winner of Bigg Boss Season 8. Also, whoever wins, there will be camps crying foul, and other camps. Feeling vindicated, and some others who may just be happy that all is well that ends.
