More than 30 people, including women and children, were injured when a gate of a folk theater performance venue collapsed in Odisha’s Cuttack district, police said.
The police said that the incident took place on Saturday night when people were walking through an iron structure in Raisunguda of Salepur area.
Police said that the injured were admitted to Salepur Hospital.
Six of them, who sustained serious injuries, were shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, he said.
An investigation is underway.
