Bengaluru police arrested Atul Subhash, his mother and brother after he committed suicide after his wife allegedly molested him.
Atul’s wife Nikita Singhania was arrested from Gurugram in Haryana and his mother Nisha and brother Anurag from Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh on charges of abetting suicide, a senior police officer said. Another police official confirmed that the accused were produced in court and sent to judicial custody.
They are accused of demanding Rs 3 crore to withdraw the case against Atul and Rs 30 lakh to meet their son.

After Munnekollal resident Atul Subhash was found dead in his apartment on Monday, his brother Vikas Kumar filed a complaint against Subhash’s wife Nikita, his mother Nisha, brother Anurag and uncle Sushil Singhania.
The 34-year-old expressed his ordeal in a 24-page note and also posted an 81-minute video with a ‘Justice is Due’ board around his neck. He also accused the family court judge of Uttar Pradesh of corruption in favor of his father-in-law.
Hailing from Uttar Pradesh, Subhash was a deputy general manager in an automobile firm in Bengaluru. He married software professional Nikita in 2019. Later they separated. Nine cases were pending against him on various charges including murder, dowry abuse, unnatural sex. In some cases, his parents were also named as accused.
