Bengaluru police arrested Atul Subhash, his mother and brother after he committed suicide after his wife allegedly molested him.

Atul’s wife Nikita Singhania was arrested from Gurugram in Haryana and his mother Nisha and brother Anurag from Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh on charges of abetting suicide, a senior police officer said. Another police official confirmed that the accused were produced in court and sent to judicial custody.

They are accused of demanding Rs 3 crore to withdraw the case against Atul and Rs 30 lakh to meet their son.

Nine cases were pending against him on various charges including murder, dowry abuse, unnatural sex. In some cases, his parents were also named as accused.
