Three students of a private school were killed and three others injured when an overhead water tank collapsed at Naharlagun in Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday.
Police Superintendent of Naharlagan Mihin Gambo informed that six students were injured when the tank collapsed while the students were playing at St. Alphonsa School in Model Village.
“All the injured were taken to Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS), Naharlagun, where three persons were declared brought dead. Post-mortem is now underway,” the SP said.
According to the police, the deceased were students of class 9 and the injured were students of classes 6 and 7.
