Bobby Deol Reveals His Jamal Kudu Dance Originated From Animals, Sandeep Reddy Wanga Didn’t Like His Dance Style | Bollywood news

Bobby Deol Joined the third edition of Screen Live with his elder brother and actor-politician Sunny Deol. The two brothers discuss many aspects of their lives, including childhood, their relationship with their father, as well as the ups and downs they’ve seen in the industry. For Bobby, the 2023 film Animal became a turning point in his career. His dance in the song ‘Jamal Kudu’ also went viral. Now, the actor shares the origin of his viral dance step.

Bobby said on Screen Live, “I still remember when I was shooting for this scene. Sandeep narrated the scene to me and said, ‘This is your wedding and you have to dance.’ I said ‘I can’t dance with the choreographer’ and started dancing. He said, ‘Cut, I don’t want my character to be like Bobby Deol, I want it to be like Abrar.’ I thought to myself, ‘What should I do now?’ So I went to Saurabh Sachdeva, the actor who played my brother in the film. I asked him, ‘How to dance?’ And he started dancing and suddenly I don’t know what happened, all these memories started coming to my mind all the time.

He added, “As a child, I used to go to Punjab during summer and winter vacations. At night the men would drink and suddenly play music and dance with glasses and bottles on their heads. So I said to myself, let me try to do that and I did several times. I had no idea that my dance style would become so popular. I just put the glass on my head and I started dancing, next thing I know, it just went viral. It’s just amazing. “

Bobby Deol, born Vijay Singh Deol, first appeared as a child actor in the 1977 film Dharam Veer, headlined by his father Dharmendra.
