Two trainee pilots were killed and two seriously injured in a road accident when a car overturned on the Baramati-Bhigwan road on Monday morning, Pune Rural Police said.
Takshu Sharma from Delhi and 21-year-old Aditya Kanase from Mumbai are trainees of the Redbird Flight Training Academy in Baramati, the police said.
Two other trainees Krishna Ishu Singh from Bihar and 21-year-old Chesta Bishnoi from Rajasthan were also seriously injured in the accident. According to the police, both people are being treated in the hospital’s intensive care unit.
According to the police, four trainees of the Redbird Flight Training Academy went for a car ride on Monday morning. According to the police, they had consumed alcohol.
It is said that while going towards Bhigwan, Krishna Singh lost control of the car and crashed on the side of the road at around 3:15 am.
After receiving the news, the team of Baramati District Police Office reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital, where Sharma and Kanase were declared dead. The Pune Rural Police has started an investigation into the accident.
