The ACC Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup features the best upcoming talent from Asian countries over the years. Established by the Asian Cricket Council in 1989, the tournament has seen 11 editions over the years, with the latest tournament concluding in Dubai on Sunday.
India are the most successful team in U19 Asia Cup history, winning 8 of the previous 10 tournaments. India have lost the summit clash only twice in 2017 and 2023. Bangladesh won their first title last year by defeating United Arab Emirates in the final in Dubai.
The young Tigers edged closer to their second consecutive title by stunning India in the final of the 2024 edition in Dubai. Bangladesh, who won the toss and batted first, put pressure on the Indian top order and scored 198 runs.
