A day after his bail plea was rejected, Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti convener and president of Khodal Dham Surat Dharma Malviya was granted bail by Surat Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court on Saturday in a 2018 Patidar agitation case.
Malviya and others were booked in 2018 under IPC Sections 153 (incitement to riot), 427 (damage to public property) and 114 (being present at the scene of offence) for allegedly defaming political leaders. Statewide Patidar movement, led by Hardik Patel.
