The US Consulate General Mumbai launched a video podcast series called Nari Network to address systemic barriers and active participation of women in the workforce. The podcast series, in collaboration with Ideabrew Studios, aims to amplify the voices of female leaders and supportive male allies in 24 episodes throughout the year.

β€œAdvancing gender equality in the Indian workforce is a top priority of the US Consulate. With Nari Network, we aim to ignite impactful conversations that empower women to break barriers, inspire men to be strong allies, and encourage businesses – large and small, Indian and American to adopt forward-thinking policies,” said US Consul General Mike Hankey. .

Discussing topics such as workplace policies, the future of work for women and role models inspiring the next generation, the podcast will be hosted by social media influencer Fresia Bomanbehram.

The U.S. Consulate will bring together students, industry leaders and others to discuss these topics on women’s empowerment and workforce equality, complementing their digital content and live events.

The podcast will include Priyanka Chaturvedi, (Shiv Sena UBT) MP, Rajya Sabha, Shweta Shalini, State Secretary, BJP, among others.
