New York Attorney General Letitia James has threatened to fight President-elect Donald Trump using the rule of law, saying her office has been preparing for months to resist Trump’s rise to power. Associate of Donald Trump Mike Davis The would-be White House lawyer has now openly threatened James and said the Trump administration will put him in jail as a “fat a**” for conspiring against the right.
On the Benny Johnson podcast, he said, “I dare you to try to continue your legislation in President Trump’s second term … Listen here, honey, we’re not messing around this time and we’re going to keep your fat. * In prison for conspiracy against the right.
Davis advised James to “think long and hard” before potentially violating the president-elect’s “constitutional rights or the constitutional rights of any other American.”
James ordered Trump to pay $454 million in bond payments earlier this year as part of a civil fraud case accusing Trump of inflating the value of his properties to get better loans. Trump later appealed the decision. After his election victory Tuesday, James and New York Gov. Cathy Hochul vowed to fight any potential “retaliation” that comes their way.
James addressed a news conference on Wednesday and assured New Yorkers that his department has studied the GOP administration’s plans under Trump and is prepared to legally fight any contingency. “This is not a time to be afraid, New York. But loyal. And steadfast. I as Attorney General, along with my entire team, we are the guardians of the law. And we are ready to fight, my friends, to fight. Back,” James said.
‘Burn the political corpses by dragging the Democrats’
Mike Davis shared a violent post on Nov. 6 in which he said he was in the mood to drag the dead political body of a Democrat down the street, burn it, and then throw it over a wall. According to the Washington Post, Trump has privately nominated Davis for attorney general and publicly praised Davis in October when he asked for the top post in his second administration.
However, Mike Davis said he did not want to be a White House adviser and ‘wanted to serve as viceroy’.
