The Prime Minister began his week-long election campaign in Maharashtra today and at his rally in Dhule, he hit out at the opposition alliance Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA).
Prime Minister Modi said that only the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance will ensure rapid development of Maharashtra, adding that whenever he has asked for something from the people of Maharashtra, they have blessed him wholeheartedly. “I assure you that the momentum Maharashtra’s development has achieved in the last two-and-a-half years will not be allowed to stop,” he said at the rally.
Elections in Maharashtra will be held in a single phase on November 20 and counting will take place three days later on November 23. The ruling Mahayuti alliance is up against the opposition MVA in the assembly elections.
