New Delhi: Prominent Indian-Americans on Wednesday congratulated Donald Trump on his historic re-election as US President and assured him of continuing to work with him on the progress of US-India relations.
Donald Trump secured a second term in the Oval Office by winning 295 of the 538 Electoral College votes, improving on his 2020 performance in both red and blue states and capturing enough swing states to reach 270 Electoral College votes.

Trump aide Vivek Ramaswamy celebrated Trump’s victory, saying that while many in the media misjudged the 45th president, his resilience and self-belief were key to his comeback.
Ramaswamy said, “Trump is not an ideologue or a policy scholar. “He is an American rogue. They tried to disqualify him, imprison him, and kill him twice—none of it worked. They underestimated him, and by extension, they underestimated the American people.

“He is like our nation. We have always believed that it is our manifest destiny to be extraordinary, to be the greatest nation on earth, to show the world what is possible for humanity to achieve, even if other countries doubt us,” Ramaswamy said.
“Trump’s comeback is America’s comeback,” declared Ramaswamy. “Our nation deserves a rogue commander-in-chief right now — and that’s what we got.”

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella congratulated Trump and said he was looking forward to working with the Trump administration.
Accepting X, Nadella said, “Congratulations President Trump, we look forward to engaging with you and your administration to advance innovation that creates new growth and opportunity for the United States and the world.”

Nikki Haley

Nikki Haley, the former governor of South Carolina, also welcomed Trump’s re-election to the White House and said that the American people were united for Trump’s strong victory.
“The American people have spoken. Congratulations to President Trump on his strong victory. Now, the time has come for the American people to come together, pray for our country and begin the process of a peaceful transition,” Haley said on X.

“It starts with Kamala Harris accepting it. You can’t just talk about unity in a campaign, you have to show it regardless of the outcome,” she added.

Tulsi Gabbard

Former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard also congratulated the Republican candidate and thanked him for allowing her to play a role in his winning campaign.
Accepting X, Gabbard said, “I offer my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to President Donald Trump for allowing me to play a small role in the winning campaign of Make America Great Again. It has been a great honor and privilege to know Donald Trump, a kind and courageous man who sincerely serves the American people. – and really want the best for all people in the world.”

“It is my great hope that the American people will vociferously condemn any attempt to sabotage his previous presidency and try again,” he added.

Former Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal celebrated Trump’s victory, saying, “What a great day for America! Let’s take a moment to celebrate. Then the hard work begins to get our country back on track!”

Additionally, MR Rangaswamy, Founder, Indiaspora, a community engagement platform, said, “Congratulations to President Trump. We look forward to working with him and his administration on issues of bilateral importance in the US-India relationship and on global challenges that the two countries can lead together.”
Indian American Friendship Council President Dr. Krishna Reddy also congratulated Trump on his re-election. “This is the beginning of a super US-India relationship and together we will make the world safe again. It is the great power of Indian Americans to build a strong economy again and Indian Americans are a big part of this success,” he said.
Al Mason, a prominent entrepreneur from New York, said that Trump has managed to avoid assassination attempts to become the messiah of the American people and the rest of the world.
“God saved Trump from two assassination attempts – there is only one reason. Trump is going to be the messiah for the American people and the rest of the world. There will be a more prosperous America, a war-free world,” Mason said.
“Indeed, a golden age begins for the United States,” he added.
