Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday hailed US Vice President-elect JD Vance’s victory in the presidential election as a historic moment as it will usher Usha Chilukuri Vance, a woman of Telugu heritage, as the second lady of the United States.
Usha is wife JD Vance And his family’s ancestral village Bhadaluru Hariyali is located near the famous Godavari town of Tanuku in West Godavari district, about 35 km from Bhimavaram, the district headquarters.

Earlier, the Chief Minister congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in the 2024 US presidential election and wished him success.
The Chief Minister said that the election of Trump will further strengthen the relationship between India and the US.
“I congratulate Donald Trump on his victory in the US presidential election and wish him success as he prepares to take his country forward. His first term has significantly strengthened the India-US partnership,” Mr Naidu said in a post on ‘X’. .
The TDP chief expressed confidence that the two nations, India and the US, would foster greater cooperation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mr. Trump.
