The New recruitsBeing selected from across the country, they will be attached to various ministries/departments including the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Department of Posts, the Department of Higher Education, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and the Department of Financial Services.
‘Rojgar Mela’ is one of the steps to fulfill the government’s commitment to give high priority to job creation among the youth.
Job fair programs are being organized across the country and new recruits are recruited in various Central Ministries/Departments/Autonomous Bodies including Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs)/Health and Education Institutes, Public Sector Banks etc. Ministry/Department is a continuous process. All vacancies are being filled in mission mode.
State Level Job Fairs and related special initiatives of State Governments etc. are organized by respective State Governments. Along with creating jobs in the country, improving youth employment is a priority of the central government.
Accordingly, the Government of India announced the Atmanirbhar Bharat Package to encourage business opportunities and increase employment opportunities. Under this package, the government has been providing financial incentives including various long-term plans/programmes/policies to make the country self-reliant and create large-scale employment opportunities.
In addition to this package, various schemes have been introduced in the country to generate employment and self-employment in various sectors of the economy.
These schemes include Atmanirbhar Bharat Rojgar Yojana (ABRY), Product Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes, PM GatiShakti, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) and Pradhan Mantri Street Vendor’s Atmanirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANdihi Yojana) etc.
Apart from these initiatives, various flagship programs of the government like Make in India, Start-up India, Stand-up India, Digital India, Smart City Mission, Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation, Housing for All etc. are also oriented.
