Bekal Beach Carnival is underway

Beccles Beach Carnival got off to a lively start on Saturday (December 21). Organized by Bekal Beach Park and Red Moon Beach Park in association with Bekal Resort Development Corporation (BRDC), the event aims to provide visitors with a blend of entertainment and cultural experience.

The carnival was inaugurated by Uduma MLA CH Kunhambu while Pallikara Gram Panchayat President M. Kumaran presided over the programme. BRDC Managing Director Shijin Parambath, Zilla Panchayat President Baby Balakrishnan, and other officials were present.

The program features daily musical performances, street acts, petting zoos, amusement rides, shopping areas, and food courts. Spread over 23 acres, the carnival will make use of Beckle Beach Park and adjacent private land, with designated parking facilities.

Stage performances by famous artists, carnival-themed decorations, and street entertainment will be major attractions. Additional activities include a pet food stall, 30 indoor games, sky cycling, wall climbing, zip lines, speed boats, a floating bridge, and exhibits of antiques and military equipment. The 30,000 sqft area will have an amusement park, auto expo, food street and shopping area.

Red Moon Beach Amusement Park will host stage shows, food stalls, and children’s activities, including train rides and a JCB play area.

The program will conclude on 31 December. Entry ticket is priced at ₹ 50, with online purchase options available. A discount package of 11 tickets is offered at ₹400. Front row seats for stage performances can be reserved online.
