Allu Arjun insisted on quitting only after watching the film : ACP

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police on Sunday released a video of the stampede at the Sandhya theater during the premiere screening of Pushpa 2 The Rule, which claimed the life of a woman, Revathi, and seriously injured her child-Sri Tej. Addressing the annual press conference, Hyderabad Police Commissioner, CV Anand said that they had analyzed videos from social media and other sources to generate the footage. He urged the public to review the video to understand what happened in the theater during the stampede.

Addressing the media, ACP Ramesh Kumar of Chikkadapally said that he informed actor Allu Arjun’s manager Santosh about the death of a woman and serious injuries of a child in the stampede. They also said that the situation was out of control and directed the actor and his team to leave the theatre. Police said the actor’s team did not care despite the request.

He also said that Allu Arjun’s manager stopped them from getting close to the actor. Although we managed to inform Allu Arjun about the death of the woman in the stampede and the condition of the injured child, he insisted that he would leave only after watching the film.
