Tirupati: Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister PS Pradyuman has directed the officials to speed up the development plan of Naravaripalle, the birthplace of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. He also asked for speedy completion of the national highway project constructed in Tirupati district.
In a meeting held in Srikalahasti on Tuesday, Pradyumna told District Collector Dr. S. Venkateswar and reviewed the progress of land acquisition and project with Co-District Magistrate Shubham Bansal. He emphasized on community property survey in Naravaripalle and suggested skill training for youth under schemes like Swayam Shakti Plus.
Key initiatives discussed include promoting natural farming, introducing horticulture options, and leveraging schemes like Stand-Up India to promote entrepreneurship. Officials were also directed to ensure 100% LED usage in villages and promote rooftop solar installations.
The Collector reported ₹ 80 lakh in CSR funds from Shree City for digital classrooms and infrastructure at Naravaripalle. A job fair is planned for January, and women’s self-help groups are being empowered through projects like e-auto services.
After the meeting, Pradyumna inspected the work of the Renigunta-Naydupeta National Highway along with the District Officer.
