If this leak is to be believed, the Galaxy S25 series smartphones will go official exactly one month from today. According to a post on X by noted leaker Evan Blass, the Galaxy S25 series will arrive on January 22. The invite also hints at four different models, the new entrant being the highly anticipated Galaxy S25 Slim.
Considering the launch timeframe of the Galaxy S24 series arriving in February 2024, the Galaxy S25 series will be available a bit earlier. Samsung is likely to officially unveil the date of the next Galaxy Unpacked event in the coming days, where the company will showcase the Galaxy S25 series of smartphones and accessories.
According to multiple reports, the Galaxy S25 series will include four different models: the Galaxy S25, a compact flagship; Galaxy S25+, an affordable large-screen flagship; Galaxy S25 Ultra, a full flagship; And the Galaxy S25 Slim, expected to be the thinnest smartphone from Samsung, is likely aimed at competing with the upcoming iPhone 17 Air.
This time, the entire Galaxy S25 series is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. In terms of design, these devices are expected to be similar to their predecessors. However, they will ship with Android 15-based OneUI 7, which is rumored to introduce significant changes compared to OneUI 6, including several new Galaxy AI features and capabilities.
According to Abhishek Yadav’s X post, Samsung is also said to offer 8 GB to 12 GB of RAM in the base variants of the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ coupled with 256 GB of internal storage.
